Alex, thank you for your "insight!" I am so blessed to read of compassion vs anger in your Matt. 5 study. I truly believe there is a shortage of "compassion" among our brothers and sisters in Jesus. One thing that has helped me lately is a talk from Andy Stanley. It was all about how every person we come in contact with is "someone for whom Christ died". Seeing people this way has totally changed my view, it helps to remind me to have compassion. While I'm thinking about it, are there really any "normal" people in the world? Hang out with someone long enough and their quirks will come out, all the more reason to learn how to love like Christ. Easy preaching, hard living. -James
